Terms of Service
Last updated: 26 June 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and JustAJob (“we”, “us”, “our”), the provider of justajob.net and our services (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, please do not use it.
1. Who can use the Service
You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.
2. What JustAJob is (and isn’t)
JustAJob is a UK-focused job-search service that aggregates listings from third-party sources and provides AI-assisted career tools. We are not an employer, recruiter or employment agency. Job listings originate from third parties; we do not control them and do not guarantee their accuracy, legality, availability, or that any role is genuine or still open. Applications are made on third-party websites, and we do not guarantee any outcome, interview or job. You deal with employers, recruiters and other third parties — and rely on any AI output — at your own risk, and we are not responsible for their actions, content or decisions.
3. Your account
You sign in with a single-use link sent to your email (“magic link”), so keeping your email account secure is important — anyone with access to it could access your account. Tell us promptly at support@justajob.net if you suspect unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity under your account, and you should keep one account per person.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law or infringe anyone’s rights;
- scrape, crawl, harvest or use automated means to access the Service beyond normal personal use, or place an unreasonable load on it;
- probe, attack, reverse-engineer or interfere with the Service or its security;
- misuse the AI tools, or submit other people’s personal data without a proper basis;
- upload unlawful, harmful, infringing or misleading content, or impersonate anyone;
- resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the Service without our permission.
5. AI tools
The AI features are assistive. Their output may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable, and is not legal, financial or professional career advice. You are responsible for reviewing and editing anything you rely on or submit to an employer. Fair-use limits apply, and we may rate-limit or suspend use that is excessive or abusive.
6. Premium subscriptions and billing
At present every feature of the Service is available free of charge and no paid subscription is offered for sale. The provisions below apply only if and when premium subscriptions are offered.
- What you get. A premium subscription unlocks the AI CV suite and a larger CV library. A free tier remains available.
- Pricing. Prices are shown at checkout in GBP (£), and applicable taxes may be added.
- Payment & renewal. Billing is handled by Stripe on a monthly or annual cycle. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, and we charge your saved payment method, until you cancel.
- Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal; your premium access then continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Refunds & your cancellation right. As a consumer you normally have 14 days to cancel a digital service. By subscribing and starting to use the premium features straight away, you ask us to begin during that period and accept that, once the service has been fully provided, the 14-day right no longer applies. Except where the law requires otherwise, fees already paid are non-refundable and we do not refund part-used periods; when you cancel, your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. Nothing here removes your non-excludable rights as a consumer.
- Price changes. We may change prices; we will give you reasonable notice and changes apply from your next renewal.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails or is overdue, premium access may be paused or your account downgraded to the free tier.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, its software, branding and original content are owned by us or our licensors. Job listings and the CV content you provide remain owned by their respective owners. You keep ownership of your content and grant us a limited licence to host and process it only as needed to provide the Service to you.
8. Third-party services and links
The Service relies on and links to third parties — including job-feed providers, employer and job-board websites, our payment processor and our AI providers — each with their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or content.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that listings are accurate or current, that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will meet your requirements.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost opportunities or jobs, or for third-party content or websites. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for your non-excludable rights as a consumer.
11. Indemnity
You agree to cover reasonable losses we suffer arising from your misuse of the Service or your breach of these terms.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or to protect the Service or other users. You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from your account page.
13. Changes
We may update the Service and these terms. We will update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, aim to give notice. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of the UK nation where you live.
