1. Cookies we use

All of these are first-party (set by JustAJob, not third parties):

• justajob_session — strictly necessary. Keeps you signed in after you use a magic link. It is httpOnly and expires; without it you cannot stay logged in.
• justajob_region — functional. Remembers the region / market you have chosen so results and pricing match where you are.
• justajob_last_search — functional. Remembers your most recent search so we can pre-fill it next time.

2. On-device preferences (local storage)

We store two display preferences on your device, which never leave your browser:

• jaj-mode — your light or dark theme choice.
• jaj-accent — your accent-colour choice.

3. What we don’t use

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking or analytics cookies, social-media pixels, or any cross-site tracking, and we do not sell your data. Because we use only strictly-necessary and lightweight first-party functional storage — with no tracking or advertising — we don’t show a cookie consent banner.

4. Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Clearing the functional items simply resets those preferences; clearing or blocking the session cookie will sign you out and prevent sign-in. Most browsers also offer a “clear site data” option for justajob.net.
