Change Manager- People and Adoption Permanent Up to £75,000 + benefits Hybrid – home-based with travel across a UK-wide office network Have you built a change agent network that got people ready for change and brought them through it? If you’ve done it during an operating model transformation or similar large-scale change, and you know Prosci, Kotter or another recognised methodology, this is your chance to build that capability from the ground up. About our client: Our client is an ambitious, private equity-backed professional services firm. It’s growing fast across a national network of offices, and significant change is running through the whole organisation: new teams, new systems, new processes and new ways of working. Its culture is open, empowering and genuinely people-first. Leadership is accessible, and colleague retention has stayed ahead of the market despite the pace of growth. You’ll be the person who keeps it that way. The role: This is a new, permanent role and the first of its kind in the business. You’ll own the people side of change, making sure colleagues across every office are informed, trained and ready to receive change, and that new ways of working are embraced rather than imposed. With 15–18 change projects live at any one time, you will: • Build, deploy and lead a dispersed network of change agents across sites. They’ll be trusted advocates on the ground and give the business a fast feedback loop. • Assess change impact on people and build the readiness plans that take colleagues from awareness through to adoption. • Design and deliver clear, honest, well-timed communications and engagement with Marketing & Communications and business leaders. • Coordinate training and business readiness so colleagues are confident before go-live and supported afterwards. • Set up colleague sentiment and adoption measurement (baseline and pulse surveys) and turn the insight into targeted action. • Coach senior leaders and managers to act as visible, effective change sponsors. • Continually improve the change toolkit so each change lands more smoothly than the last. What you’ll need: • A strong grounding in Prosci/ADKAR, Kotter or another recognised change methodology, applied pragmatically. You know when to keep it simple. • Proven experience building and deploying a dispersed change agent or champion network across multiple sites, teams or regions. • Experience delivering people change in an organisation going through significant, organisation-wide change, such as an operating model transformation, a major restructure or an M&A integration. • Hands-on experience of the people readiness toolkit: change impact assessment, stakeholder engagement, communications, training and adoption. • The energy and credibility to coach senior leaders and bring people with you, and the autonomy to run several changes at once. It would be great if you also have: • M&A or post-acquisition integration experience. • Experience measuring colleague sentiment or adoption. • A change management certification (Prosci, APMG or similar). • A background in professional or financial services, or experience in a PE-backed business. Backgrounds that could fit: operating model or enterprise transformation, people or organisational change, HR transformation, large-scale technology adoption (e.g. Microsoft 365, ERP or CRM rollouts across multiple sites) or M&A integration. Industry or consultancy, any sector. Why this role? • It’s a blank canvas with backing. You’ll shape a capability the business is genuinely passionate about. • You’ll have high visibility with senior leadership in an ambitious, PE-backed firm. • It’s scale and variety you won’t find elsewhere, inside a culture that has stayed people-first through rapid growth. The package • Salary circa £75,000 + benefits • Hybrid working: home-based, with purposeful travel across a UK-wide office network • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to buy extra days • Pension, death in service and a health cash plan • Professional membership support • Flexible dress code
